<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2007-12-17T14:11:27Z</dcterms:modified>

The real work things with MS

I have not updated my blog recently, engaged in a project in Oct.

Here would like let the pictures talk:

Steve.

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2007-09-26T14:26:23Z</dcterms:modified>

To make work a great game

So, cut to the point:

the daily work of MDAC test team is not simply as test execution, stare at the screen, something like that, they are also doing:

building test infrastructure;

test new scenarios;

The latter 2 means a lot of coding, which is something different from Microsoft's test job and others.

Simply telling from the job title: SDET, Software Development Engineer of Test, we are actually doing test development.

It's never going to be a piece of cake job.

WTT, windows test technology (MDAC got very close relationship to windows) is a whole test infrastructure, which is very comprehensive & solid, yet still under continues improvement. For example, the MDAC team also developed the infrastructure of "Auto Lab Run System" to improve the automation test.

BTW, according to the MS development strategy of "component ownership", China R&D now owns the complete set of MDAC components, which includes : ADO, ODBC, OLE DB etc.

I list languages & tools & platforms we are using here:

Only apply to SQL Server R&D China MDAC test team:

Programming languages: C/C++.

Others: VB, C# plus.

Code review: Source Insight.

Debug: Windbg.

What is the good to be the SDET of Microsoft?

1. First of , as I also have mentioned in previous blog, Microsoft got the unparalleled test system and infrastructure, you have comprehensive space to learn & grow.

2. Test own wider responsibilities compares with developer, approaching whole functionalities of each product, communicating with dev team, lab team in China and US, coaching / monitoring vendors' team, etc.

3. Want to be SDEV, besides the coding skill, innovation of think out of the box, we also requiring great self initiative.

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2007-08-28T12:27:00Z</dcterms:modified>

Thrilling announcement: SQL Server of China R&D's blog is online now!

Bookmark the link of: http://blogs.msdn.com/prakas/

The first story, telling you the whole career experience of the head of SQL Server of China R&D team:

Quote:

"My name is Prakash Sundaresan (and I have a Chinese name as well - 孙博凯) and I lead the SQL Server R&D team in China. I just moved to China (for the 2nd time) a few weeks ago. As I begin to get to work here on building the team, ramping up our R&D efforts, working with customers and partners in the region etc., I find that there is a great deal of interest, from a variety of quarters, in what SQL Server R&D will be doing in China – hence this blog. Here, I plan to discuss not only the work we are doing in the SQL Server China R&D team, but also broader topics – the ongoing transformation of our field from Database to a modern comprehensive “Data Platform”; interesting applications customers and partners in this region are building using our technology; issues that may be of interest to students and others looking to build careers in this technology area; and anything else people want to discuss about working in China, global development etc."

Can not wait to read, check this out:

http://blogs.msdn.com/prakas/archive/2007/08/27/introduction.aspx

Together with my blog, we are going to show you a real work of Micrsoft SQL Server R&D China:

What we are doing?

What's on next plan?

What's the fun of working here?

Which position we are hiring?

and

How do we hire.....

Now I got another challenging topic from:

微软中国研发集团的主要工作是不是主要是本地化美国总部的程序呢? 有没有很多创新的东西呢? 作为在中国研发集团工作的开发人员是不是接触不到美国总部关于产品的核心代码，具体的工作是不是类似于二次开发的工作呢?

To be brief, he's asking about : are we doing some none core tech work here? And I believe there are a lot of similiar questions around as well.

Well, to answer this question, first of all, I'm not the guy speak for Microsoft R&D China, just throw out 2 assumptions:

1. If we are doing none core research & development, we are not going to attract top talents in the market.

The truth is: we are proud to say, we have excellent guys here.

2. If we are doing only so called "development", we will not be able to retain the talents.

The truth is: we are pretty low turn over rate here.

To give more details, I could give you an example as SQL Server, because I'm currently working here:

What's the goodness on working for SQL server, 2 reasons:

First: Database is always an attractive technology to know, and on another way, working on database, means market value, could easiler get job any time.

The second is, the technology is very diverse, you could work in SQL for many years and still changed a lot of jobs, you could work on relation engine, api, tools, xml, a lot of technologies, enough challenges.

And Microsoft SQL Server product group does have commitments on developing R&D center in China.

SQL Server has designated China as one of its 3 strategic R&D sites world-wide (Redmond, India, China). With offices in both Beijing and Shanghai, the SQL Server China R&D Center is chartered to work on a variety of established core product components .

Could forsee that the China R&D center is going to be the biggest database R&D center in South and east Asia in FY 08 and move on.

Still have not got the point? Take patience:

With Microsoft's distributor development model, we emphasize the "component ownership", that means we want to own it to end, own the development, test, program management, and new features design, each one in the group. For example,

relation engine is one a core part in SQL Server, we do that in Beijing.

I have my last piece of words to say:

You want to change your job not because you want change the work to do, you want changes in your life.

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2007-08-20T15:06:12Z</dcterms:modified>

A fast view of STB

Here give you a fast view of :

There's one simple reason for me to give an example:

My colleague played pingpong with one of the authors of <code complete> this noon.

I should take you a picture next time.

There are many reasons for join & quit a company, and tipically, I think there are 2 types of companies in the world,

one is, after you worked there, you think you could survive in any of the rest in the world.

another is, after you joined, you began to worry, probably there's no other companies in the world you could go.

Very similiar to the procedure of "Love". And Microsoft is the latter.

From the perspective of culture, I just doubt if there are any other companies allow an employee to walk into a manager's office, no matter if he/she is the direct report line and say: hey, I think I do not agree about ...

From the perspective of work, just give you an example:

Microsoft got the most advance test theory/system/people/process in the world, and which makes a test guy hard to find competitive environments, including google. Google hired a test architect from Microsoft, and he left eventually,

Because without the support of people, system and the advance infrastructure, people could perform well on that area.

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2007-08-15T12:28:56Z</dcterms:modified>

activities, training & people

Microsoft got a lot of internal team activities, "all-hands" is one of them, which means to put all the people from same group at same time, and now this time was held in Beijing from 8,9,10th of Aug for all MS staffing people.

Some more explainations on MS words going to use below:

1:1 , which means one to one face to face meeting, which could be done between lead & member or peers.

S+ equals to schedule.

Belowing is something saw, experience and learned:

来到微软有个比较明显的感觉就是：
虽说微软强调员工个人的自学能力，80% on job training， 20% formal training，但是拿这近一个月来说，我就有参加了：

公司内部组织的员工培训（2天）；

HR 系统应用培训（2天）；

内部招聘培训（半天）；

Mentor

1:1 with manager (若干次)；

1:1 with develop & test engineers (若干次）；

Meeting with Hiring manager；

Open& Respectful,

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2007-08-12T10:21:27Z</dcterms:modified>

Don’t let complexity stop you

Remarks of Bill Gates

Harvard Commencement June 7, 2007
http://www.news.harvard.edu/gazette/2007/06.14/99-gates.html

President Bok, former President Rudenstine, incoming President Faust, members of the Harvard Corporation and the Board of Overseers, members of the faculty, parents, and especially, the graduates:

I’ve been waiting more than 30 years to say this: “Dad, I always told you I’d come back and get my degree.”

I want to thank Harvard for this timely honor. I’ll be changing my job next year … and it will be nice to finally have a college degree on my resume.

I applaud the graduates today for taking a much more direct route to your degrees. For my part, I’m just happy that the Crimson has called me “Harvard’s most successful dropout.” I guess that makes me valedictorian of my own special class … I did the best of everyone who failed.

But I also want to be recognized as the guy who got Steve Ballmer to drop out of business school. I’m a bad influence. That’s why I was invited to speak at your graduation. If I had spoken at your orientation, fewer of you might be here today.

Harvard was just a phenomenal experience for me. Academic life was fascinating. I used to sit in on lots of classes I hadn’t even signed up for. And dorm life was terrific. I lived up at Radcliffe, in Currier House. There were always lots of people in my dorm room late at night discussing things, because everyone knew I didn’t worry about getting up in the morning. That’s how I came to be the leader of the anti-social group. We clung to each other as a way of validating our rejection of all those social people.

Radcliffe was a great place to live. There were more women up there, and most of the guys were science-math types. That combination offered me the best odds, if you know what I mean. This is where I learned the sad lesson that improving your odds doesn’t guarantee success.

One of my biggest memories of Harvard came in January 1975, when I made a call from Currier House to a company in Albuquerque that had begun making the world’s first personal computers. I offered to sell them software.

I worried that they would realize I was just a student in a dorm and hang up on me. Instead they said: “We’re not quite ready, come see us in a month,” which was a good thing, because we hadn’t written the software yet. From that moment, I worked day and night on this little extra credit project that marked the end of my college education and the beginning of a remarkable journey with Microsoft.

What I remember above all about Harvard was being in the midst of so much energy and intelligence. It could be exhilarating, intimidating, sometimes even discouraging, but always challenging. It was an amazing privilege – and though I left early, I was transformed by my years at Harvard, the friendships I made, and the ideas I worked on.

But taking a serious look back … I do have one big regret.

I left Harvard with no real awareness of the awful inequities in the world – the appalling disparities of health, and wealth, and opportunity that condemn millions of people to lives of despair.

I learned a lot here at Harvard about new ideas in economics and politics. I got great exposure to the advances being made in the sciences.

But humanity’s greatest advances are not in its discoveries – but in how those discoveries are applied to reduce inequity. Whether through democracy, strong public education, quality health care, or broad economic opportunity – reducing inequity is the highest human achievement.

I left campus knowing little about the millions of young people cheated out of educational opportunities here in this country. And I knew nothing about the millions of people living in unspeakable poverty and disease in developing countries.

It took me decades to find out.

You graduates came to Harvard at a different time. You know more about the world’s inequities than the classes that came before. In your years here, I hope you’ve had a chance to think about how – in this age of accelerating technology – we can finally take on these inequities, and we can solve them.

Imagine, just for the sake of discussion, that you had a few hours a week and a few dollars a month to donate to a cause – and you wanted to spend that time and money where it would have the greatest impact in saving and improving lives. Where would you spend it?

For Melinda and for me, the challenge is the same: how can we do the most good for the greatest number with the resources we have.

During our discussions on this question, Melinda and I read an article about the millions of children who were dying every year in poor countries from diseases that we had long ago made harmless in this country. Measles, malaria, pneumonia, hepatitis B, yellow fever. One disease I had never even heard of, rotavirus, was killing half a million kids each year – none of them in the United States.

We were shocked. We had just assumed that if millions of children were dying and they could be saved, the world would make it a priority to discover and deliver the medicines to save them. But it did not. For under a dollar, there were interventions that could save lives that just weren’t being delivered.

If you believe that every life has equal value, it’s revolting to learn that some lives are seen as worth saving and others are not. We said to ourselves: “This can’t be true. But if it is true, it deserves to be the priority of our giving.”

So we began our work in the same way anyone here would begin it. We asked: “How could the world let these children die?”

The answer is simple, and harsh. The market did not reward saving the lives of these children, and governments did not subsidize it. So the children died because their mothers and their fathers had no power in the market and no voice in the system.

But you and I have both.

We can make market forces work better for the poor if we can develop a more creative capitalism – if we can stretch the reach of market forces so that more people can make a profit, or at least make a living, serving people who are suffering from the worst inequities. We also can press governments around the world to spend taxpayer money in ways that better reflect the values of the people who pay the taxes.

If we can find approaches that meet the needs of the poor in ways that generate profits for business and votes for politicians, we will have found a sustainable way to reduce inequity in the world. This task is open-ended. It can never be finished. But a conscious effort to answer this challenge will change the world.

I am optimistic that we can do this, but I talk to skeptics who claim there is no hope. They say: “Inequity has been with us since the beginning, and will be with us till the end – because people just … don’t … care.” I completely disagree.

I believe we have more caring than we know what to do with.

All of us here in this Yard, at one time or another, have seen human tragedies that broke our hearts, and yet we did nothing – not because we didn’t care, but because we didn’t know what to do. If we had known how to help, we would have acted.

The barrier to change is not too little caring; it is too much complexity.

To turn caring into action, we need to see a problem, see a solution, and see the impact. But complexity blocks all three steps.

Even with the advent of the Internet and 24-hour news, it is still a complex enterprise to get people to truly see the problems. When an airplane crashes, officials immediately call a press conference. They promise to investigate, determine the cause, and prevent similar crashes in the future.

But if the officials were brutally honest, they would say: “Of all the people in the world who died today from preventable causes, one half of one percent of them were on this plane. We’re determined to do everything possible to solve the problem that took the lives of the one half of one percent.”

The bigger problem is not the plane crash, but the millions of preventable deaths.

We don’t read much about these deaths. The media covers what’s new – and millions of people dying is nothing new. So it stays in the background, where it’s easier to ignore. But even when we do see it or read about it, it’s difficult to keep our eyes on the problem. It’s hard to look at suffering if the situation is so complex that we don’t know how to help. And so we look away.

If we can really see a problem, which is the first step, we come to the second step: cutting through the complexity to find a solution.

Finding solutions is essential if we want to make the most of our caring. If we have clear and proven answers anytime an organization or individual asks “How can I help?,” then we can get action – and we can make sure that none of the caring in the world is wasted. But complexity makes it hard to mark a path of action for everyone who cares — and that makes it hard for their caring to matter.

Cutting through complexity to find a solution runs through four predictable stages: determine a goal, find the highest-leverage approach, discover the ideal technology for that approach, and in the meantime, make the smartest application of the technology that you already have — whether it’s something sophisticated, like a drug, or something simpler, like a bednet.

The AIDS epidemic offers an example. The broad goal, of course, is to end the disease. The highest-leverage approach is prevention. The ideal technology would be a vaccine that gives lifetime immunity with a single dose. So governments, drug companies, and foundations fund vaccine research. But their work is likely to take more than a decade, so in the meantime, we have to work with what we have in hand – and the best prevention approach we have now is getting people to avoid risky behavior.

Pursuing that goal starts the four-step cycle again. This is the pattern. The crucial thing is to never stop thinking and working – and never do what we did with malaria and tuberculosis in the 20th century – which is to surrender to complexity and quit.

The final step – after seeing the problem and finding an approach – is to measure the impact of your work and share your successes and failures so that others learn from your efforts.

You have to have the statistics, of course. You have to be able to show that a program is vaccinating millions more children. You have to be able to show a decline in the number of children dying from these diseases. This is essential not just to improve the program, but also to help draw more investment from business and government.

But if you want to inspire people to participate, you have to show more than numbers; you have to convey the human impact of the work – so people can feel what saving a life means to the families affected.

I remember going to Davos some years back and sitting on a global health panel that was discussing ways to save millions of lives. Millions! Think of the thrill of saving just one person’s life – then multiply that by millions. … Yet this was the most boring panel I’ve ever been on – ever. So boring even I couldn’t bear it.

What made that experience especially striking was that I had just come from an event where we were introducing version 13 of some piece of software, and we had people jumping and shouting with excitement. I love getting people excited about software – but why can’t we generate even more excitement for saving lives?

You can’t get people excited unless you can help them see and feel the impact. And how you do that – is a complex question.

Still, I’m optimistic. Yes, inequity has been with us forever, but the new tools we have to cut through complexity have not been with us forever. They are new – they can help us make the most of our caring – and that’s why the future can be different from the past.

The defining and ongoing innovations of this age – biotechnology, the computer, the Internet – give us a chance we’ve never had before to end extreme poverty and end death from preventable disease.

Sixty years ago, George Marshall came to this commencement and announced a plan to assist the nations of post-war Europe. He said: “I think one difficulty is that the problem is one of such enormous complexity that the very mass of facts presented to the public by press and radio make it exceedingly difficult for the man in the street to reach a clear appraisement of the situation. It is virtually impossible at this distance to grasp at all the real significance of the situation.”

Thirty years after Marshall made his address, as my class graduated without me, technology was emerging that would make the world smaller, more open, more visible, less distant.

The emergence of low-cost personal computers gave rise to a powerful network that has transformed opportunities for learning and communicating.

The magical thing about this network is not just that it collapses distance and makes everyone your neighbor. It also dramatically increases the number of brilliant minds we can have working together on the same problem – and that scales up the rate of innovation to a staggering degree.

At the same time, for every person in the world who has access to this technology, five people don’t. That means many creative minds are left out of this discussion -- smart people with practical intelligence and relevant experience who don’t have the technology to hone their talents or contribute their ideas to the world.

We need as many people as possible to have access to this technology, because these advances are triggering a revolution in what human beings can do for one another. They are making it possible not just for national governments, but for universities, corporations, smaller organizations, and even individuals to see problems, see approaches, and measure the impact of their efforts to address the hunger, poverty, and desperation George Marshall spoke of 60 years ago.

Members of the Harvard Family: Here in the Yard is one of the great collections of intellectual talent in the world.

What for?

There is no question that the faculty, the alumni, the students, and the benefactors of Harvard have used their power to improve the lives of people here and around the world. But can we do more? Can Harvard dedicate its intellect to improving the lives of people who will never even hear its name?

Let me make a request of the deans and the professors – the intellectual leaders here at Harvard: As you hire new faculty, award tenure, review curriculum, and determine degree requirements, please ask yourselves:

Should our best minds be dedicated to solving our biggest problems?

Should Harvard encourage its faculty to take on the world’s worst inequities? Should Harvard students learn about the depth of global poverty … the prevalence of world hunger … the scarcity of clean water …the girls kept out of school … the children who die from diseases we can cure?

Should the world’s most privileged people learn about the lives of the world’s least privileged?

These are not rhetorical questions – you will answer with your policies.

My mother, who was filled with pride the day I was admitted here – never stopped pressing me to do more for others. A few days before my wedding, she hosted a bridal event, at which she read aloud a letter about marriage that she had written to Melinda. My mother was very ill with cancer at the time, but she saw one more opportunity to deliver her message, and at the close of the letter she said: “From those to whom much is given, much is expected.”

When you consider what those of us here in this Yard have been given – in talent, privilege, and opportunity – there is almost no limit to what the world has a right to expect from us.

In line with the promise of this age, I want to exhort each of the graduates here to take on an issue – a complex problem, a deep inequity, and become a specialist on it. If you make it the focus of your career, that would be phenomenal. But you don’t have to do that to make an impact. For a few hours every week, you can use the growing power of the Internet to get informed, find others with the same interests, see the barriers, and find ways to cut through them.

Don’t let complexity stop you. Be activists. Take on the big inequities. It will be one of the great experiences of your lives.

You graduates are coming of age in an amazing time. As you leave Harvard, you have technology that members of my class never had. You have awareness of global inequity, which we did not have. And with that awareness, you likely also have an informed conscience that will torment you if you abandon these people whose lives you could change with very little effort. You have more than we had; you must start sooner, and carry on longer.

Knowing what you know, how could you not?

And I hope you will come back here to Harvard 30 years from now and reflect on what you have done with your talent and your energy. I hope you will judge yourselves not on your professional accomplishments alone, but also on how well you have addressed the world’s deepest inequities … on how well you treated people a world away who have nothing in common with you but their humanity.

Good luck.

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2007-08-02T14:35:51Z</dcterms:modified>

Searching on the sea

On conversation with the SQL Shanghai team's product manager, we talked about the genious on the top of, within Microsoft. And inevitablely, Jim Gray's mentioned.

I feel so regret about this mysterious missing, feel like I have met him before I joined, the Turing winner in 1998.

All the best wishes to him.

Steve Silberman 07.23.07 | 2:00 AM

It looked like a fine day for a sail. On Sunday, January 28, 2007, Microsoft researcher Jim Gray woke up on his boat, a red 40-foot fiberglass cruiser called Tenacious. The water in Gashouse Cove, a cozy marina in San Francisco Bay, was nearly flat. The 63-year-old programmer phoned his wife, Donna Carnes, who was on an annual vacation with friends in Wisconsin. He said he was heading out to the Farallon Islands, a wildlife refuge 27 miles offshore, to scatter the ashes of his mother, Ann, who died in October.

As Gray steered out through the Golden Gate to the open ocean, both tide and wind were in his favor. At 10:30 am, he called Carnes again and said that he was approaching a channel marker buoy 15 miles out. She asked him if he was wearing his harness; single-handed sailors can drown if a wave pitches them overboard and the ship sails on. "Yes, dear," he replied, saying that he would get in touch as soon as Tenacious came back into range.

A few minutes later, he left an upbeat voicemail for his daughter, Heather, in Santa Barbara. "I'm taking Granny out to her final resting place. I'm surrounded by dolphins out here. It's a little cloudy but very pleasant. No whales but lots of dolphins and very pretty. Love and kisses, take care, bye." At 11:50 am, his smartphone synched with Microsoft's email server one last time, pinging a Cingular tower south of San Francisco. A couple of hours later, on Southeast Farallon Island, a naturalist named Brett Hartl spotted a sailboat with a reddish hull a mile or two offshore, sailing north.

Then Gray and his boat vanished. The Coast Guard received no Mayday call, and Gray's EPIRB — an emergency radio beacon designed to broadcast a homing signal if it sinks — stayed silent. No sailors in the area reported seeing the boat adrift, and not a single life vest, flashlight, or scrap of debris belonging to Tenacious washed up on local beaches.

The news that Gray was missing shocked the high tech community. The lanky coder had been a computing legend since the 1970s. His work helped make possible such mainstays of modern life as cash machines, ecommerce, online ticketing, and deep databases like Google. "Jim's work inspired us and many other computer scientists to seek out and tackle very ambitious projects," says Google cofounder Sergey Brin. "He never shied away from problems involving large-scale data and computation."

When Gray joined Microsoft in 1995, he convinced the software behemoth to launch a research center in San Francisco so that he and his wife wouldn't have to move to Redmond. "If Jim had wanted a lab in Monte Carlo, we would have built a lab in Monte Carlo," says Microsoft Research chief Rick Rashid. In 1998, Gray's peers gave him the highest honor in computer science, the A.M. Turing Award.

His influence reached far beyond the insular world of coding and computers. Each morning, as Gray strolled down to the lab from his rustic Victorian on Telegraph Hill, he chatted on his cell with one of the many scientists who became regular guests on his boat. He could talk to astronomers, oceanographers, geologists, geneticists, or fellow programmers and seem like a native in each field. And he felt equally comfortable hiking along the Tahoe Rim Trail or sailing up the Sacramento River delta with his wife.

Gray's mysterious disappearance inspired one of the most ambitious search-and-rescue missions in history. First the Coast Guard scoured 132,000 square miles of ocean. Then a team of scientists and Silicon Valley power players turned the eyes of the global network onto the Pacific. They steered satellites and NASA planes over the Golden Gate and mobilized the search for Tenacious on blogs and on Amazon.com. This group included some of the best minds in science and technology, among them Amazon.com chief technologist Werner Vogels and top executives at Microsoft and Oracle, including Bill Gates and Larry Ellison. Oceanographers and engineers from the US Navy, NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute joined the effort, as did astronomers from leading universities.

The search became national news and gripped the imagination of the blogosphere. Some commentators tried to cast the programmer as a digital-age D. B. Cooper, who disappeared in 1971 with a suitcase full of cash by leaping from the back of an airplane — though Gray had no evident motive to flee.

During the search, Carnes stayed in seclusion with a security guard posted at her door, refusing to talk to the press. But as salvage boats and remotely operated underwater vehicles scanned the seafloor along California's north coast, she met with me in the house she shared with Gray. "I am determined to find out what happened to my husband," she said. "And I am determined to find Tenacious, because she is the key to Jim, and to this strange, singular, very painful mystery."

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2007-07-29T14:34:48Z</dcterms:modified>

As I mentioned in the day before yesterday's blog, yesterday is Laptop free day, I'm not going to bring any work to home.

While the truth turned out is, on waiting for the <transformer> in the cinema, I opened laptop again.

You could imagine what looks like from my GF's face. Yes, I'm hopeless, in trying not to fall in with Microsoft.

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2007-07-26T14:34:01Z</dcterms:modified>

A snap of "Casual" with MS

Last week, in HR global all hands video meeting, the senior VP was gaving presenation in pants.

As symbol of high technology culture, in almost the 30 years, now we got companies like "Google" & other new cutting edge web 2.0 companies, Microsoft is keeping his great tradition and on reformancing.

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2007-07-15T14:06:36Z</dcterms:modified>
